EMPLOYEE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT (ECI)
With the aim of spreading the non profit and volunteer culture amongst the UniCredit employees, in the course of recent years UniCredit Foundation has created, developed and strengthened instruments and techniques for involving and informing its
employees on social issues. In 2009 UniCredit Foundation launched the “A story for history” initiative within the Migrations Program, which, as well as continuing initiatives like the "Gift Matching Program", now at its seventh year, and “Passage to Benin”, now at its third edition.
Collaboration has continued with the Group, conceiving and implementing interventions on its behalf in the countries where UniCredit Foundation is operating.
This collaboration, as well as pursuing the project goals, proposes to involve the employees of the different banks on issues regarding development cooperation, through an on-going dissemination of information on the initiatives realized, the participation of a number of employees in missions on the field to assess the progress of the projects supported by their bank, the first hand involvement in the promotion of the initiatives.
