ArrivalAid has worked since 2015 to support the integration of refugees and migrants across Germany.

With offices in Munich and Stuttgart, and partners in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and Cologne, ArrivalAid has empowered around 35,000 individuals - including children and people with disabilities - to navigate asylum procedures, overcome language barriers, and access job opportunities. Its programmes connect participants with trained volunteers, combining personal support with practical tools such as job coaching, digital empowerment, and language mediation.

Through long-term, hands-on engagement, ArrivalAid strengthens social cohesion and helps build inclusive communities.

The organisation’s model brings together digital access, education, and civic engagement.

ArrivalAid’s approach is rooted in structured volunteering, enabling local citizens and employers to actively support newcomers. Programmes are continuously adapted to meet participants’ evolving needs - whether through computer courses for young adults or training for refugees with disabilities.

These initiatives aim to reduce educational inequalities and empower individuals to thrive in modern society.

With a focus on social, linguistic, and economic participation, ArrivalAid is building a future where every refugee has the chance to fully contribute.

The “DigitalAid” programme boosts digital literacy among young refugees entering the job market.

Launched in Stuttgart and funded by the Vector Foundation, DigitalAid equips 16–19-year-old refugees with essential digital skills, helping them overcome barriers linked to disrupted education and limited tech access.

The programme delivers flexible workshops - led by trained “DigiCoaches” - in community centres and housing groups, offering tailored support in familiar environments.

Topics include job applications, workplace skills, and online tools. Backed by UniCredit Foundation, DigitalAid is expanding to Munich, with a goal to reach 300 young people across both cities by 2027, empowering them to build a future of opportunity and inclusion.
