Techsoup’s strategy centers on professional development, curriculum innovation, and community-building among educators.

It supports informatics, ICT, and social education teachers through training, peer learning, and resource creation. Grounded in evidence-based pedagogy and interdisciplinary insights, Techsoup designs national conferences, publishes teaching materials, and facilitates educator networks.

“Teaching the Future” addresses systemic gaps in Romania’s middle school informatics education, especially in rural areas.

The program enhances CCC (critical-creative-computational) thinking by training 400 teachers - nearly one-third of Romania’s middle school informatics educators—over three years.

It introduces PRIMM-based lesson sets for grades 5 and 6, fosters peer learning through Teaching Activity Groups (TAGs), and develops teacher leadership via a fellowship model.

Annual national events like Scratch Day and the Digital Festival engage over 2,500 students.

Impact is tracked through evaluations of teaching practices and student outcomes, offering a scalable model to reduce digital education disparities.
