The “EDU-Secure: Education and Dropout Prevention for Sustainable Futures” project targets at-risk children aged 11–17 in Banja Luka, aiming to prevent early school leaving through academic support, emotional development, and family-strengthening initiatives.

It includes a new methodological framework for early risk identification, developed with the University of Banja Luka, alongside training for staff and volunteers.

Parents participate in workshops on communication, stress management, and community resource use.

A two-shift service model extends access to support, while counselling, meals, and hygiene services create a safe learning environment.

Directly benefiting 140 children and 70 parents, the programme builds a replicable model for sustainable dropout prevention with potential for scaling to other regions.
