Founded in 2018, G-LAB S.r.l. Impresa Sociale is a non-profit organisation based in Bologna, Italy. It is an extension of the thirty-year experience of Fondazione Golinelli in the fields of education and training.

G-LAB aims to promote and disseminate activities, workshops, projects, and events across various sectors, including education, research, arts, and enterprise.

The "Mathematics with Khan Academy" programme, chosen by UniCredit Foundation via the UCF Edu-Fund Platform in 2024, aims to personalise mathematics education in Calabria and Campania by utilising the free Khan Academy platform. It employs "Mastery Learning" methodology to tailor learning experiences to individual needs, especially in the critical early years of middle school.

The programme targets secondary school students from grades 5 to 8 (ages 11 to 15) in Calabria and Campania. These students are often behind in mathematical skills and require personalised learning to enhance their competencies.
Implemented in Calabria (Catanzaro) and Campania (Naples and Salerno), the programme involves collaboration with local schools supported by the Calabria and Campania Regional School Offices, and the Centro Calabrese di Solidarietà. Key participating schools include Convitto Nazionale Statale Tasso and IC Rita Levi-Montalcini of Salerno.

The project integrates digital learning platforms into mathematics teaching, offering teacher training and continuous support. Teachers play a crucial role in motivating students and addressing their difficulties. Activities are conducted both in-person and online, allowing real-time assessment and management. The programme demonstrates the effectiveness of this innovative approach, enhancing students' mathematical skills and expanding their educational and career opportunities. By introducing Khan Academy to teachers, students, administrators, and families, the project promotes widespread educational benefits and lays a solid foundation for STEM skill development.G-LAB focuses on enhancing educational experiences and professional development through innovative and interdisciplinary approaches. The organisation leverages digital resources and mobile labs to reach schools and partners nationwide, offering both in-person and online activities.

Key activities include: educational scientific and interdisciplinary workshops for schools of all levels; teacher training; cultural events on contemporary topics such as virtual reality, digital education, career guidance, and entrepreneurship; and STEAM education - managing Scuola delle Idee Marino Golinelli, the first STEAM secondary school in Italy, recognized for its educational equality.
G-LAB is accredited by the Ministry of Education and the Emilia-Romagna Region for teacher training and higher education
