UniCredit Foundation selected the L.E.A.P. (Learning, Educational Advanced Programme) in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Call for Education 2023. The initiative aims to improve conditions for adolescents to develop their life potential, regardless of their background. It contributes to community growth and combats educational poverty among lower and upper secondary school students.

The programme targets vulnerable students aged 11 to 19 who are at risk of social exclusion, facing significant challenges that hinder their educational and personal development.

The programme operates in the Srebrenica and Tuzla areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina, focusing on regions where educational and social disparities are most pronounced. It aims to provide comprehensive support to these communities, enhancing the educational outcomes and personal growth of students.

L.E.A.P. employs a multidisciplinary, community-centred approach, offering individual courses, extracurricular activities, psychological support, motivational pathways, and home visits to marginalised families. It involves local partner Tuzlanska Amica, the Ministry of Education of Tuzla Canton, social services, schools, and various educational professionals, ensuring a holistic support system for students.
