The programme targets lower secondary school students and their teachers, with a focus on contexts where signs of vulnerability in the learning journey are evident.

It aims to address student disengagement by strengthening teachers’ capacity to adopt participatory, competency-based methodologies that enhance both engagement and self-efficacy.

It combines targeted interventions in schools across Brno and the South Moravian region with an online pathway designed for teachers in underserved areas, expanding access to professional development opportunities. Through structured training and classroom application, teachers integrate innovative teaching practices, while students take part in experiential activities that foster motivation, participation and transversal skills.

A monitoring and evaluation system, developed with the support of an independent academic partner, enables the measurement of progress and the validation of a scalable model. The programme therefore contributes to generating lasting impact for students, teachers and schools, promoting a more inclusive, participatory and competence-oriented education system.
