Strengthening Education through Community-Centric Collaboration

In 2024 Teach For All (TFA), has embraced and implemented this approach in Romania, Italy and Austria. Together, TFA network partners enhanced outcomes for children by building robust relationships with leaders and stakeholders, improving learning at scale. Targeted interventions in these communities connect students, their families, schools, businesses, government, and civil society, fostering shared purpose and creating actionable plans. This was built on previous work by Teach For All, and supported by UniCredit Foundation, to provide a quality education to underserved schools in the above UniCredit countries as well as Bulgaria, Germany, and Slovakia.
The programme

The primary goal of "Re-Power Your Future" is to support students aged 10 to 19 in their development by involving them in school activities, enhancing academic performance, preventing school dropout, and guiding them towards informed career choices for the future.

The partnership aims to equip the most vulnerable youth with the skill set and mindset to build thriving communities, with early interventions in order to reduce school dropouts and to support their transitions from learning to earning. In addition, it fosters integration and social cohesion among young people. This collaborative approach ensures that students receive engaging learning experiences aimed at teaching them entrepreneurial thinking, changing mindsets about future possibilities, and equipping them with financial skills.

The activities are divided into three pillars: "Inspire," "Prepare," and "Succeed."

The "Inspire" and "Prepare" programmes provide participants with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve their future aspirations, with support from JA Europe member organisations and mentors from UniCredit. The "Succeed" session offers comprehensive support for the transition from school to work, including internships, apprenticeships, and entrepreneurial ventures. Notable activities include the "Job Shadow Week," engaging internships, and enlightening "Incubation" workshops. This integrated approach aims to empower students, strengthen communities, and reduce educational disparities in Europe.
