Giuseppe "Peppe" is a cheerful and kind student with special educational needs who often struggles to find his place. The Digital Fabrication Lab, organized as part of the Noz Future Labs project, with the support of the UniCredit Foundation, helped him with this.
Peppe was immediately passionate about it: perhaps that's why his classmates entrusted him with the role of captain of one of the teams that organized a "Treasure Hunt" at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa.
He chose the team's name and guided his teammates in choosing puzzles, clues, and tools to use with enthusiasm and creativity. Once on the field, Peppe led his team, despite some physical challenges, with unwavering determination. His goal was to win, together with his teammates, the Trophy he had helped design and then build.
For him, it wasn't just an object: it was the symbol of his commitment.
In the end, Peppe managed to lift the trophy and saw his dream come true in a passionate embrace with all his classmates, thanks to a deep bond built on collaboration during the digital fabrication workshop.
Peppe demonstrated how the Noz Future Labs project is not only useful for learning STEAM skills, but also for building self-esteem and models of cooperation.
When an educational community demonstrates cohesion, every child, regardless of their background and challenges, can become the architect of their own destiny.
