Fuori Classe - The series

How many seats remain empty in classrooms across Europe?

From Italy to Germany, from Austria to Bulgaria, school dropout remains a wound to be healed throughout the Old Continent.

“Fuori Classe” is a project by Open for UniCredit Foundation aimed at shedding light on this shadowy area of European society, as well as on the work of organizations that every day strive to combat educational poverty through targeted programs.

“Fuori Classe” is a six-episode video investigation that tells the different facets of this major European challenge, giving a voice to its protagonists — the students themselves, families, teachers, social workers, and volunteers. Its goal is to raise awareness about educational poverty in various contexts, while also reminding us that every challenge — with adequate effort — can be overcome.
